A NIGHT TO REMEMBER: NAMC SOCAL CELEBRATES 30 YEARS IN STYLE

What a beautiful night it was for NAMC'S SoCal Grand Masquerade Ball to celebrate 30 years of supporting & advocating small construction businesses in Southern California. The event being held on October 2nd 2025 was hosted by the master of ceremonies' Hakim Chambers of Cordoba Co-operations. Tim Coffey president of the TEC Constructors and Engineers served as the Gala Chairman and Karim Webb president of Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners, was the keynote speaker of the event. For over 30 years NAMC has been a champion for equity, inclusion and diversity in the construction industry, which symbolized an important commemoration for more years to come.

The event was proud to honor its nominees for the Rising Star Award and Champion of Diversity Award. The nominees of the Rising Star Award were: Tyrone Auston (Trinity Electrical), David Frelow (Frontline Traffic Control) and Aisha Thompson (Steelman Build & Construction). This also included nominees for Champion of Diversity Award which were: Bill Hadley (Skanska), Priscilla Chavez (PCL) and Kevin Ramsey (Alameda Construction SVCS). NAMC SoCal President Traci Watson provided a speech that showed Steady Leadership and support that continues to move the company forward.

One of the main highlights of the night, was honoring scholarship to student recipients. Each one was awarded a 4000$ economic inclusion scholarship , funded through the 2025 NAMC golf tournament. A huge thanks to the sponsors that made this celebration a success.
